We are so excited our shoot from earlier this summer has been featured with Rock My Wedding, see link https://www.rockmywedding.co.uk/eco-friendly-wedding/ To celebrate this and also following the heart-warming feedback we've had so far from not only fellow industry peeps but also from couples interested in hiring Wickerwood Farm for their wedding, it gave me the idea to try and pull together a small selection of some of the suppliers featured and offer a collaboration for one date only next summer, helping to make one lucky couples wedding planning process a lot easier!
It’s been tricky pinning down a date when just a small team from this large collaboration are all available at the same time but we’ve managed it! So, for ONE date only myself and these selected suppliers are available to offer their talent and services to 1 lucky couple on Saturday 5th September 2020 here at Wickerwood Farm.
The suppliers within this collaboration are - Elena Popa (Photographer), Tales From Apple Tree House (Florist), Hire Love (Prop & Furniture hire) and Harriet’s Table (Tableware hire) and of course, Wickerwood Farm (Venue)
Here's a little bit about these chosen suppliers –
Elena Popa
Elena is a passionate documentary-style wedding photographer with a steady hand who is a force to be reckoned with behind that lens of hers! She has a knack for creating atmospheric shots of her couples and their natural connection, ensuring her backdrops are captured with equal importants. With a soft spot for the non-traditional, fun and quirky weddings full of creativity and personality, Elena strives to achieve nothing but the best results for her couples, capturing the raw, honest moments full of real emotion. A wedding photographer who is certainly rocking the wedding scene right now. Here are some examples of her work here at Wickerwood Farm.
Tales From Apple Tree House
Anna is a local florist whose ethical approach to her work is inspired by the changing seasons, her passion for flowers, colour, textures and nature. Anna grows many of her own flowers, limiting the need to buy flown in flowers and uses zero pesticides in her cutting beds. She also forages in the local East Sussex countryside to add wild and natural touches to her work and always keeps seasonal elements in everything she does. Drying flowers has become very en vogue again and Anna dries many of her home grown flowers and foraged items to be used during the winter months when the British flowering season ends. Always looking to improve the amount of waste and damage to the environment Tales from apple tree house has a strict no floral foam policy always finding other more eco friendly ways of creating installations and arrangements, which ofcourse gets the big thumbs up from us!
Hire Love
A small family run business with a warehouse that's simply bursting at the seams with a huge collection of some of the best eclectic, genuine period and upcycled furniture and prop hire treasures here in the South East. We are so lucky to have our friends at Hire Love just up the road from here and trust me they do exactly what they say they do.. Hiring love, style and adding atmosphere up and down the country for the sassy, uber cool wedding lovers of today. From authentic Persian rugs, genuine, period french sofas to upcyclyed tables and benches created with love in house and not forgetting all the trinkets of detail props available, they really do offer all that’s required to create an uber cool, atmospheric wedding here at Wickerwood Farm.
Harriet’s Table
Offering distinctive vintage crockery, cutlery and glassware perfect for the bohemian inspired tipi wedding. Ellen’s carefully curated collection is eclectic in style and exquisite in quality and is genuinely vintage, sourced with love from British auction houses and antique fairs. Her collection offers richly colourful, patterned bone china plates edged in gold; to sparkling crystal glasses and champagne saucers; and gleaming silver-plated cutlery, every piece at Harriet’s Table has its own history and is of exceptional condition and looks as good as new.. So why not sit down and dine at Harriet’s Table…
