Wickerwood Farm is proud to announce that we will now be offering a limited number of exclusive luxury, women's only wellbeing retreats during the summer months. This experience is for all abilities - newbies very much welcome.
We are inviting you for the opportunity to come and immerse yourself in the beautiful and tranquil surroundings of this very special farm, tucked away in a quiet little corner of East Sussex, for 3 days of focus on YOU.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT TO EXPERIENCE AT THE RETREAT?

Throughout the retreat, qualified practitioners will guide you through a diverse range of well-being classes, including Sound Bath Healing, Cacao Ceremony, Chakra Cleansing, Calming Vinyasa, Yoga Nidra, Hatha, and Sivananda. In addition, evening fire rituals will be held to deepen your experience.

Three delicious and wholesome meals* as well as fresh juices, freshly brewed locally roasted coffee and a selection of teas will be freshly prepared on site each day and available for you to indulge in under the beautiful Nordic tipi structures, all prepared and served by our inhouse chef.

Classes will be held in a variety of thoughtfully chosen locations across the venue — from our expansive flower meadow beneath the Nordic stretch tent, to the serene lakeside encircled by woodland, and within the cozy atmosphere of the Tipi.

Optional one-on-one Massage and Reiki treatments will be available during your stay. These must be booked in advance directly with the practitioner and will incur an additional fee.

Bell tent accommodation will be available for the duration of your stay, with a range of options to suit different budgets and comfort levels. You can find more details about the available tent options and how to book yours here

I have been hosting weddings at Wickerwood Farm for the past 7 years and love nothing more than welcoming guests to this very special farm, a farm that has been in my family for 3 generations, lucky to call this place home and therefore holds huge sentimental value to me. I’m excited to now be hosting well-being retreats as well as weddings and being able to offer those in need of some ‘time out’ the opportunity to do just that within the calm and peaceful surroundings of Wickerwood Farm.

BENEFITS OF VINYASA
YOGA FLOW
Vinyasa flow yoga offers numerous physical and mental benefits, including improved cardiovascular fitness, increased flexibility and mobility, stress reduction, and emotional clarity. We will be practising a calming vinyasa yoga that links poses together with the breath, creating a flowing sequence of movements.

Sivananda Yoga, a classical yoga system, offers numerous physical, mental, and spiritual benefits. It promotes overall well-being by improving flexibility, strength, and balance. Regular practice can also reduce stress, enhance concentration, and foster a positive attitude. Sivananda Yoga emphasizes a holistic approach, integrating physical postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), relaxation, diet, and positive thinking.
BENEFITS OF HATHA YOGA
Hatha yoga offers numerous benefits for women, including improved flexibility, muscle strength, and posture, as well as stress reduction and improved mental well-being. It can also help alleviate menstrual cramps, regulate hormonal balance, and promote better sleep.

NIDRA MEDITATION
Yoga Nidra, is a guided relaxation technique, offering numerous benefits, including
stress reduction, improved sleep, and increased awareness. It helps calm the nervous system, promotes deep relaxation, and can improve cognitive function.
Regular practice can also enhance physical health, potentially lowering inflammation and improving blood pressure. Practised in a savasana pose.
*Please bring a blanket and pillow for your practise.
BENEFITS OF SOUND HEALING THERAPY
Integral Sound Healing is used to alleviate symptoms caused by many conditions, including anxiety, PTSD, dementia, behavioural and psychiatric disorders, and much more.

It also helps lower stress, blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and the risk of heart conditions such as artery disease and stroke, whilst improving sleep quality and overall well being.

Deep relaxation is the most significant benefit of sound healing, followed by its energetic deep tissue massage effect caused by the sound vibrations that open, clear, and balance the chakras, whilst releasing stuck energy.

Singing bowls are often used for chakra clearing in sound healing practices.

HEALING THERAPY
Reiki is a gentle, yet powerful form of healing and the benefits are felt on all levels.
As a natural healing system, it can benefit everyone, from young babies to adults and is a safe, non-invasive treatment.
It can be used alongside other complementary therapies or conventional medicine. Reiki can be given laying down, on a treatment couch or sitting in a chair, therefore making it an easy treatment to receive.

Reiki helps the body to reach an inner state of harmony, physically, mentally and spiritually. As well as helping many physical ailments, it can also promote the changing of any negative mental habits, turning these into more positive and productive thought patterns.
Once we begin to think more positively, our lives and our health become more positive too.
