As we close the doors on yet another wedding season here at Wickerwood Farm, I thought I’d hop on and say Hi 👋 and share a little more about me and this special place we call Wickerwood Farm.

I’m Jude - the face behind Wickerwood. The one at the end of the phone, emails and Instagram. The one helping couples plan their big days, the stylist, coordinator and manager for each wedding here. I can also quite often be seen lugging furniture and props about as well as bombing around on my lil tractor tending to the farm and venue!

Nine years ago, I ventured into the wedding industry. I knew nothing about weddings, or anyone within it but I threw myself into the unknown. 9 years on I’m quite proud of what Wickerwood has become and incredibly grateful to have worked with some of the best who have no doubt contributed towards what Wickerwood is today.

This summer has been incredible: with wall-to-wall sunshine, our biggest production wedding to date, we’ve welcomed some incredible suppliers who I’ve admired for sometime and finally got to work with. We’ve welcomed guests from all over the world, received a nomination for #theweddingindustryawards, we even went viral with more than one reel and gained 4,115 new followers this month alone!

But most importantly, we’ve celebrated some truly incredible couples. To those who said ‘yes’ here this summer. I love you all. 🧡

Thank you to everyone who has supported Wickerwood, to all our new follows and those who have stayed around, thank you for being here.

⚠️ WEBSITE RELAUNCH IS NOW LIVE ⚠️

Over the past few weeks I’ve been working away behind the scenes really closely with my ‘go-to’ designer extraordinaire @darcydesign.co to give my website an overhaul and can I say I’m pretty chuffed with what’s been achieved! 🙌

It gave me the opportunity to sit back and carefully select some of my favourite images to showcase Wickerwood and everything it has to offer. It wasn’t easy as there were SO many to choose from but I’d like to take this opportunity to thank my couples, their photographers and videographers for sharing such beautiful content with me over the years. It’s this kindness that helps promote Wickerwood and I’m truly grateful to you all.

Dale and Pete have been nothing short of delightful to work with on their planning journey. They knew what they wanted and it was a pleasure to guide them through the process. A tablescape✨ quite possibly my favourite element to style for a wedding here at Wickerwood Farm.

I love the details. I love adding chic to rustic trestle tables, incorporating hand made, bespoke stationery and appreciating all the work that goes into producing those beautiful little details certainly doesn’t go unnoticed here at Wickerwood.

Then there’s the florals. Sustainable displays like this hand picked from local flower farms tick every box for us. The tableware.. the beautiful cut glass, vintage plates and beautiful cutlery. The candles, sourced from a sustainable and natural bee candle producer here in Sussex, offering not just sustainable candles but a beautiful, natural honey scent throughout the tipi. All these details came together to create something really special for our couple Dale and Pete, a couple clearly with great taste!

These are all details we can help you bring together through the planning service we offer here at Wickerwood Farm. It’s completely optional, of course, but a service we highly recommend.

After all, your tables are one of the few elements of your wedding day that every guest will get to sit down, enjoy and take in up close and personal. 💫

Today we’re rewinding ⏪ back to June for one of the most glorious of days here at Wickerwood Farm. 🥂

A day for David and Graham to share with their nearest and dearest and what a day it was. Everyone barsked in warm sunshine whilst enjoying the most exquisite afternoon tea, sipping on local sparking wine and listening to the best live entertainment. A production of all productions here at Wickerwood Farm and one we’d do all over again in a heart beat.

Not only are guests welcomed through them as they enter into what feels like a woodland home but they also act as a great screen for when the bride (or groom) arrives, a moment most like to keep private.

Not only that but there’s so many options for floral design, making each wedding unique to the next, just how we like it here at Wickerwood Farm. 💫
